22 Dec Beware the Bareness of a Busy Life
As 2014 winds down, and we pen our resolutions and goals for 2015, this inspiration from the past is a great reminder to be purposeful with our work and lives.
In a local co-working office, there was a quote written on one of their whiteboards: "End the glorification of busy." An anonymous quote, but one that hit the mark. We don't have to be constantly "busy" in order to be successful, or to do our jobs well. Setting up priorities, and being able to say "no" to honor those priorities can lead to a full, and busy-free life.
Get inspired tomorrow, Tuesday the 23rd, by listening to Transform 2014 presenters Lauren Taylor, and Thomas Fisher, M.D., M.P.H., on Minnesota Public Radio (online or on the radio) at 12pm (CST) and 9pm (CST).
