19 Aug What Happens AFTER Transform?
TODAY at 5pm Central time - Find out!
Ever wonder what happens after Transform? What do the amazing people that visit us — people like YOU who meet and engage in conversation -- really DO when they return to their day jobs and we’ve swept up the stage?
Please mark your calendar for Monday, July 29th, at 5pm Central time! We have a special presentation with Dr. Lyle Berkowitz and Jonathan Baran, “What Happens AFTER Transform”. Please join our online community to watch this presentation at 5pm Central time. There will be time for Q&A with Dr. Lyle and Jonathan at the end.
Dr. Lyle and Jonathan met at Transform 2010 when Dr. Lyle presented on "The Future of EMRs". Dr. Lyle will reflect on the talk he gave in 2010 and how he's been exploring the concept of innovating with EMRs since that time. Dr. Lyle and Jon will then describe how they met at Transform 2010, how they bonded over a common vision of creating "EMR Apps" which improve clinical workflow and how they built a company by transforming their crazy ideas into reality! Lessons learned from their journey will be shared and time for Q&A will be available after the presentation.
Dr. Lyle Berkowitz is the Associate Chief Medical Officer of Innovation for Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Medical Director of IT & Innovation for Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group (NMPG) in Chicago. He is also the Founder and Director of the Szollosi Healthcare Innovation Program (SHIP), President of Back 9 Healthcare Consulting, and the Founder and Chairman of Healthfinch, a healthcare software company making "Doctor Happiness Tools".
Jonathan Baran is a Biomedical Engineer and Health IT designer with a passion for fixing healthcare’s inefficiencies through better technology. Jonathan graduated with both his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Wisconsin—Madison's Biomedical Engineering Department. Jonathan speaks regularly on how to use design thinking to improve health IT.
