Designing for Consequence

Lorna Ross, Director of Design at the Center for Innovation at Mayo Clinic, discusses how design can be used as an agent for change in complex systems such as health care at the Service Design Network in Sweden.

She showcases projects and case studies, and shares lessons learned throughout her career in Service Design. She also focuses on how service design has evolved to adapt to a clinical context, and how creativity and imagination can gain credibility in an evidence-based culture.
